Hero MotoCorp has officially launched the new Super Splendor 125cc at the NADA Auto Show 2025 in Kathmandu. Priced at Rs 2,66,900, the updated model brings improved performance and comfort while retaining the reliability and efficiency Hero motorcycles are known for.
The Super Splendor 125cc is powered by a 124.7cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder OHC engine. It produces a maximum power of 9 bhp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 10.35 Nm at 4,000 rpm, paired with a 4-speed multi-plate wet clutch transmission. Riders can start the bike via both self-start and kick-start options.
Built on a tubular double cradle frame, the motorcycle features telescopic hydraulic front forks and 5-step adjustable rear shock absorbers. Braking is managed by drum brakes on both ends, while the bike rides on 18-inch tires—front 80/100 and rear 80/100.
The Super Splendor 125cc measures 1,996 mm in length, 720 mm in width, and 1,088 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,267 mm, seat height of 785 mm, and ground clearance of 160 mm. It weighs 123 kg kerb weight and carries a 13-liter fuel tank, suitable for long daily commutes.
The new Super Splendor 125cc blends efficiency, practicality, and everyday usability, making it a strong contender in Nepal’s commuter motorcycle segment.
